In 2018, avocado is placed 10th in fruit commodities produced by Indonesia after banana, mango orange, pineapple, durian, salak, rambutan, papaya, and jackfruit. While in China, avocado is their 12th position in fruit production.
In general, cultivating avocados require an immense amount of patience. Furthermore, they are challenging crops to grow and demand high maintenance at some points. Indonesia is not yet ready to produce special kinds of avocado for oils.
