Export products from Indonesia to Vietnam in 2019, for instance, vary. Some of them, based on the Indonesian Ministry of Agriculture, were mango, pineapple, raspberry, blackberry, durian, and other fruits (salacca, mangosteen, banana, etc). Export target markets of Indonesia’s main products are China, the United States, Japan, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Pakistan, South Korea, Italy, Netherlands, Bangladesh, and Egypt.
Per kg of gedong gincu mango from Cirebon, Indonesia when marketed to the Middle East in 2019 can cost around US$3,5 or about IDR45.000. On the other hand, 6 tons harum manis mango of East Java to Singapore in 2019 was sold for IDR 174,4M. Until June 2019, the total sales for the commodity to the target countries had reached up to 568,7 tons with an export value of IDR11,55B. Until today, Indonesia is aiming for Japan, with a potential export value per kg in 2019 is IDR800.000 – IDR1.000.000. However, the export requirements for the market, specifically, the quality aspect of the product are extremely difficult.
